IEEE Women in Computing (WIC)

Our mission of collaboration among IEEE Women in Computing (WIC), WIE Atlanta section, and the School of Computing at the University of Georgia is to foster a diverse and inclusive community that empowers and supports women in the field of computational sciences, such as Al and data science. We are dedicated to promoting professional development, networking opportunities, and leadership skills for women at all stages of their careers in computing. By creating a shared environment where knowledge is shared, experiences are celebrated, and challenges are collaboratively addressed, we strive to inspire the representation of women in computing, contributing to progress in our ever-evolving technological landscape.

Our vision is to build a future where women in computing lead and significantly contribute to advancing computational strategies. We envision a community that transcends boundaries, where women are recognized for their expertise, creativity, novelties, and leadership in shaping the digital world.
